Maybe it's a third version - like, they're going to be doing that with the Mystery Dungeon games, too, not just the main series.

I might end up get- who am I kidding I won't even attempt to buy it.

I am so psyched for it, but......something bothers me now that the official site's open.

...One part of this is a remake, the other part is a new story. How this will work out, I won't know. Will the Darkrai conspiracy be cut out? How does Shaymin fit into the game? Does Grovyle really survive after the game, or is it just a flashback scene?

I love all the story bits biggrin

It sounds kinda like an Untold Story. Grovyle and Dusknoir were enemies, but now they're fighting a bunch of Sableye? Sounds interesting to me.

I found out info about Dusknoir and Grovyle.

Grovyle disappears from sight, like in the original, but is now trapped with Dusknoir in what WAS the future, during the world's paralysis. Primal Dialga's army of Sableye have been sent to destroy Dusknoir for his failure, so Grovyle and him team up.

Me too, but I play both in tandem. MD holds my attention a little more actually :P The epicness of the story, the fact that you're playing as a Pokemon, the fact that you ARE a Pokemon...yeah.
Speaking of the story, nice bit you found there. So, the Grovyle thing is a new story, not a flashback scene
