Really now? Cool, I remember playing the GBA one back in the day on some weird boot-leg cartridge and actually enjoying it. Hopefully the DS one is fun too.
Are you serious? I have to call him Starfy? That is almost enough to stop me from playing this... Everyone I've ever talked to has called 'em "Stafy", which happens to sound a kajbigillion times better.
But another thing. Apparantly Stafy doesn't have the deepest plot, but I still don't want to jump into the middle of the Japanese plot and have Nintendo tell us its the begining. History shows this makes people want to murder you.

They're remaking the FIRST GAME in the series for the DS. So we'll be starting where the Japanese did in 2002, no storyline cuts there.
The 3rd Stafy was the ****s. Best in the series. 4 has a grand storyline and meaty gameplay, and 5 wasn't so good, but it was the cutest one of the lot :3
Nintendo called him Stafy in Brawl. Maybe that's a temporary name.
The word 'Legendary' sounds wrong anyway. If Densetsu no Zelda can be translated into Legend of Zelda, why can't Densetsu no Stafi be translated into Legend of Stafy? That sound a million times better.

That's exactly what I thought! Maybe they did it on purpose to differentiate it from Zelda? Which does not at all justify it in my mind, but it could possibly have been their motive I guess. Get better translators, Nintendo.
