I mix and match. Like, I'll write "theatre" instead of "theater," but "color" instead of "colour." I'm also a big fan of British slang... I mean, come on, there is no better insult than "wanker."
In speech, though, I have a slight Scottish accent, which is odd, because my family has long roots in the USA.
Very very similar, but not identical per se. There's the whole Canadian... Uh, how do you write it? Well, "Eh" as Toadster puts it, I think it'd be more like "aye". He's the Canadian one though.
–adjective 1. inspiring awe: an awesome sight. 2. showing or characterized by awe. 3. Slang. very impressive: That new white convertible is totally awesome. Origin: 1590–1600; awe + -some
Lol, I even got the year which it was invented. Definitely not 25 BC :P
We need to ditch defenition 3 and promote defenition 1. Otherwise when an astronaut says outer space is awesome everyone will think he's talking about the new white convertible.

Conversely, if a person says a new white convertible is awesome, everyone will think he's talking about outer space :P
