I think our real problem here is, quite honestly, no one cares about anything.
New Zelda? Gets, like, five posts of people going "Yeah, cool." or "Pssh, PH sucked." Then it dies. On a larger forum, it would be a BIG thread with ideas and discussion and all that. I'm not sure if it our size or just our personalities, but... we don't get that here.
And really, making more topics will just fan the flames and add more dead baby topics to the pile.

So... wut do we do?
Correction: I care, but I'm not sure about the rest of you. I can go on and on with the discussions, say, the new Zelda, but if none of you have anything else to add, I'm just talking to myself, and that pretty much defeats the purpose. It doesn't have to be a large forum to have serious discussions, a small forum with a few active members can do that too if they can actually be serious about forum discussions once in a while. Especially the Meadow, 5-10 posts later on every topic and everything goes to pot there. And the minute I post 'Get back on topic', the topic undergoes sudden death.
What can we do? 1. Get more members. I'm trying to affiliate our site with a few more around the Net. toadster's Mario Kart clan is one way to start, and I'm considering linking up to Kirby's Rainbow Resort. You can help too. Just spread the word as widely as possible.
2. Be serious when you have to. If you want to be carefree and post un-serious posts, you have the Cafe and Random board to spam.
3. It doesn't have to be me handling the new topics all the time. I don't believe none of you have nothing to contribute.
