Do you think we should advertise on social networking sites and Youtube more extensively? We could get other Youtube users who aren't affliated with any game site to help us distribute our forum link and main page link. We could also try setting up accounts on Facebook, Twitter and MySpace to spread the word. Just PM a bunch of game lovers and wait for their response. Have them help us advertise if they like what they see. Your thoughts?
YouTube would be helpful... but we need some, y'know, STUFF first. Maybe upload a lot of Kirby music or something? Make a Kirby Retrospective? I dunno.
What to post? Damn, this would take far more effort than I bargained for...maybe we should wait for the end of the year to do this.
If we set something up in a social networking site, we could blog about site updates like craz mentioned, or game releases and reviews and add videos to Youtube. The Conduit is out, right? Snag a trailer and watermark it with our logo. Then upload. It's low, but it works.
Kirby has nothing on the horizon right now, so even Rainbow Resort is at their wit's end. We're just surviving.
It was supposed to be a Kirby forum. But right now we're more of a all-round gaming forum. Maybe we need a rebranding. Maybe when we advertise, we say we talk about videogames and not just Kirby.
Well, it depends. Do we WANT to be just about Kirby? Or do we want to be about gaming in general (probably 99% Nintendo)? To me it seems like we're already doing the ladder, since we talk about all kinds of sh*t.
-Make a Facebook group account and advertise the sh1t out of the game lovers there. -Upload a few real videos on Youtube and get a few subscribers, then get them to join. -Try and try again back at Gamespot/FAQs- they're admittedly one of the biggest game forums on the Net.
