MMO didn't really catch in the console/handheld gaming. They support the PC more because, 1. better graphics 2. can be updated anytime 3. can add lots of new stuff without worring about space limits!
Indeed. But I think the biggest problem is that computers are just so much more capable when it comes to accessing the internet. Maybe something simple like Gunbound COULD be played on the Wii, but it would probably be laggy.
Imagine World of Warcraft on the Wii. Original target audience destroyed in just one week.
They did try to make MMOs before, remember Maple Story DS? It was cancelled. Same with Ragnarok.
The Wii is just as capable of accessing the Internet as the PCs. The problem would be maintaining the connection(Wi-fi is pretty flimsy, and Nintendo's servers suck)
