What do they mean to you when you're playing? Or, for that matter, games which move so close to real life that you're playing a film instead of a game.
In the same way I prefer animation to live action, as far as graphics go, I prefer more stylized stuff to the realistic trend. Okami and The Wind Waker are MUCH more appealing, visually, than Halo or Twilight Princess.
It was still better than what TP did, although the dungeons in TP are admittedly harder. I'm with all of you, I'm not a fan of realistic stuff. But then you have people who lap up Dead Space, the Calls of Duty, Bioshock, Grand Theft Autos(for some reason I played San Andreas....and it was boring)
Realistic in the sense of having some spanking attractive backgrounds graphics are acceptable, but with "realistic" characters... I feel kinda wierd.. Like what, it's just a game man, why so "real"??
