Well they're both imperfect so either, I wasn't trying to convince you or anything. My opinion is if you game on CPU's or require heavy specs go with a PC (because you can get heavier specs cheaper). If not, Mac has a much friendlier OS and will never get infected.
I would if I had a really good PC, but I don't. That's why I like consoles, I don't need to spend ass loads of money upgrading them and my console is usually just as good as the guy who can build his own god damn computers. Best of all, the game is going to look the way its supposed to, I don't need to take any chances with specs.
On the other hand, consoles also need to be updated and you need to buy new controllers and accessories. Fortunately you can keep your TV, so if you invest in a really nice TV, it'll last you a long time.
I've kept my old CRT and it lasted me through the Gamecube and Wii generations. And console updates are usually(if not always) optional. The only reason I would buy a new Wiimote is if my old one broke.
