Game guides

Do you tend to refer to them while playing(whether it's gameFAQs or real books on games)?

Sometimes I look up a walkthrough, but I wouldn't BUY a guide.

For some games. Like, Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon, I like to plan things out. But for Zelda and Mario and such, I like to figure things out for myself.

And the only game guide I've ever bough, and ever will, is the Mother 3 Handbook. $20 for love - in book form.

And I also bought the Pokemon Snap game back in the day, even though I didn't own the game. Screwy, ain't it?

Reminded me of what I did with Pokemon Colosseum, 3 months before I owned the game :3

I never actually ended up buying Pokemon Snap, though, and never had a real desire to.

It was a pretty game guide, though. Lots of cool pictures.

WAAAAY back when I used to use strategy guides.
I believe I still have strategy guides for Banjo Kazooie, DK 64, Pokemon yellow/blue/red, Ocarina of time, Majoras Mask and Links Awakening.

Pokemon Snap was an interesting game.

Edit: Oh wait, I was thinking of Hey You Pikachu. I've never even played Pokemon Snap.

I never played both.

I have game guides for Pokemon R/B/Y, G/S, and R/S. Then I stopped buying and went to serebii instead for movesets and stuff.

But having to turn on the comp every time you need to refer to something is cumbersome....I may need a PMD2 and Platinum guide after all.

Internet guides are free.
