'nother update: Piston Honda is now Piston Hondo, and there seems to be a challenge mode or something wherein even Glass Joe can kick your ass from here to Paris.

WHOO TRIPLE POST!

THIS French video seems to reveal a new guy around the 2:00 mark. I've heard bets it's Aran Ryan from Super Punch-Out!!, but, who knows. So, yeah, good stuff.

Yeah - after looking into, that seems to be the case. Now let's see the roster again!

Rumors say - or it's official I dunno - that we have 13 boxers total. So, with the following guys...

Glass Joe
Von Kaiser
Disco Kid
King Hippo
Bear Hugger
Don Flamenco
Bald Bull
Piston Hondo
Great Tiger
Aran Ryan
Soda Popinski (?)

...we have two left. Odds are, one of them will be a "final boss" type character; Mr. Dream, perhaps, or someone new altogether. I would bet it's Mr. Sandman - but, who knows. I'm pulling for Dragon Chan, though, or maybe Bob Charlie.

Super Machoman and Mr. Sandman are pretty much confirmed. They, along with Bald Bull, are the only boxers to be in both home console installments of Punch Out. Use logic.

Yeah - and the OFFICIAL WEBSITE has a shadowed character who, to an extent, at least, looks like Mr. Sandman, so he's all-but confirmed to be in. I'd also expect Super Macho Man SOMEWHERE, but I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped him, either.

I know Nintendo updated their website and I read articles on the internet RIGHT after I posted that.

...but it's also been confirmed Title Defense mode has an extra, 14th fight at the end, so ANOTHER CHARACTER MAY AWAIT!

I mean, thematically, Mario would make much more sense, but DK's better suited to the Punch-Out!! formula, so, y'know, it's a tossup.
