I still hate the title, but still can't help but notice they've changed the official art a little from the Japanese version. Stafy has a different expression, but it's not an angry face(thank heavens). I may put up a comparison soon.
Release date? 8th of June! Don't expect any groundbreaking gameplay, since this isn't Densetsu no Stafy 4(porting 5 is actually a less than ideal plan. It's going to leave quite a bad taste in hardcore critics' mouths...)
Art is... Well, "Starfy" is the only one who looks good, which is acceptable because he looks just about perfect. However, its just damn unacceptable that they're calling him Starfy. It sounds retarded. Literally.
Unless Nintendo promotes this game big-time, it'll probably end up a low key series anyway. Unless a whole bunch of people want to see him after Brawl.
And I'm not too broken up over "Starfy." I mean, Stafy sounds better, definitely - but Starfy is much more... how d'ya say... pedestrian? It's much more clear that it's based on the word "star."
Well, I'm guessing easy, by the looks of the game. And that means American people won't like it.
Fix'd.
The Japanese audience is worlds different. They like cute more than anyone else. This being the case, the Stafy dress-up will only seem pointless to the US players. And Stafy games have always been easy. Always. Just like Kirby, now that I think of it.
And it took me about 6 hours to beat Stafy 5, extras and all.
Starfy will do fairly well in America. It'll never reach even Kirby standards, but stay in the same tier of Starfox and F-Zero - games that do well enough to warrant sequels, but that's about it.
