Like, I was just pre-ordering Punch-Out!! on Amazon yesterday and I realized - wow, I haven't bought a game in an actual, physical store in, like, two years. Not since I was scoping for Metroid Prime 3, in fact. I've bought EVERY game off of Amazon since then.
So, how do you get your games? Do you have a local shop? Pick 'em up at Walmart? Or are you a lazy ass like me and just buy them off teh interwebz?
I usually pick 'em up at the store. Last game I bought online was WoW, and that kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. It still calls to me sometimes, and I have to remind myself of its warcraft-ruining and life-destroying properties. I'd have to install 3 hours of updates/installations anyway.
Ebay...not so much. I sometimes buy from there, buy be wary of pirated copies. sergioal64 from Gamespot bought a bootleg Pokemon Emerald from eBay and pay full effing price for it.
EBay isn't phailyure when you're shopping for anything else though. I got my Manaphy plush and some rare Pokemon cards there. I also bought a music album for yuri.
I get most of my Magic cards on Ebay... But I may stop now. Last auction I won was over a month ago, never arrived at my house and now it says I never won the auction.
