It involves too much strategy for my likes.
Hell, I had Fire Emblem DS for what feels like a year and I still haven't beaten it.

If Pikmin is too RTS-like, I don't know what kinds of RTSes you play. Pikmin is as RTS-lite as you can get. Kinda like complaining that the soggiest oatmeal isn't soft enough for you.

That's just my opinion. I can't help not liking strategy games. I barely got passed the first level in Pikmin 1.

Pikmin 1 was much harder than 2, because of the 30 day time limit. But the first level...has no time limit. It's supposed to be the tutorial level?
