Only seen in Kirby's Adventure(and NiDL after that, I don't know of any other games with this power). Ball Kirby is such a great Copy Power....makes me wonder why Nintendo never used it again.

And no, Canvas Curse doesn't count.

If you think about it, isn't "ball" more of a disability than a power? I mean, its the ABSENCE OF ALL HIS LIMBS, he doesn't gain ANYTHING.

But he becomes more rubbery, I'd imagine. Though we don't really know his normal consistancy, so we can't make a judgement call, can we?
