After the original Sonic Adventure the console games started dropping like a ROCK. SA2 came out before it fell too far, but after that... ugh. Not good games.
(I like them, though. Shadow the Hedgehog is a FUN GAME, dammit!)
I guess I just have to adapt. But pressing v to fire missiles and going through all that trouble to scan stuff is annoying when you're getting shot at and you just wanna scan this guy so you can kill him.
Hunters was an insult. Do yourself a favor and pick up a used copy of Prime 1 (if you didn't like 3, then you should play 1 with gamecube controls). It'll be real cheap, and its a great game.

Gamecube controls feel natural to me. Wii controls are a little awkward. Still nothing in the series beats Prime 1. It had the largest overworld of the three, and...I dunno, it just felt more epic than Echoes or Corruption.
Corruption in particular...could've been a lot better.
I dunno, Echos was pretty dumb. Light gun? Dark gun? Light dark gun? WTF? But, I'm not that far in corruption. I mainly just hate shooting missiles and switching to scan visor. Both SOO inconvenient.
I liked Echoes. The gameplay was a little weak, for the aforementioned reasons, but the storyline was probably my favorite of the three, if only because the Luminoth are so frickin' cool.
