It's not something I'm gonna import, seeing as I have next to no interest in anime. When Tatsunoko vs. Capcom comes out, 99% of my time is probably going to be on the Capcom side. Unless the Tatsunoko characters fight good.
That game confuses me. When I look at a sprite sheet, it'll just be some guy standing around or L sitting in a chair or something. Either this guy sucks ass at ripping sprites, or this game has an unusual definition of "combat".
Well, there's playable characters and support characters. L, for example, will just pop up, sip coffee, and give you a health boost. Or something. I know that Light will appear, write someone's name in the Death Note, and they'll be dealt a bunch of damage, though.
But some characters have full sheets. DBZ and One Piece have the most.
Recent years have been meh, I agree. But the 80s and 90s... man... those were the highlights of Shonen. Today there's One Piece and some good sports stuff, but, meh.
Yesyesyesyesyes. Gintama is FANTASTIC. I mean, comedy in that vein is REALLY hard to pull off - but Gintama never misses a beat. I haven't read/seen it in MONTHS unfortunately, but, well, it's just great.
WHY DID THEY STOP SERIALIZING IT!? THERE IS NO GOD!
