Comedies are hard to do right, and I absolutely loathe horror, so lovey-dovery romance it is for me.

If it's done well, it's entertaining. If it's done badly, it's HILARIOUS. Win-win.

But if its not done particularly well OR particularly badly, then its just dull.

Edit: I would think a romance would be just as hard to do well as a comedey.

Yeah, but then you just pray for a hot actress of somekind and ride that wave.

If a comedy is mediocre it's just ugly unfunny people and nobody wants that.
