And we! Are! Done!

We're not, actually, because I suck and forgot to update on Friday, but, woops, whatever. We don't need to be completely finished. ANYWAYS...

64 went in and only 32 are coming out. There were some upsets - who would have guessed KIRBY would be out in the first round! - and some crushing defeats, but overall we've trimmed the fat and are ready for Round 2 which will be bigger - actually, smaller - better - likely worse, really - and all around more awesome - maybe.

First of all, I have some questions/statements.

1) Betting - does anyone honestly want to bother anymore? 'cause no one's sent me any PMs in WEEKS and it's a pain to try and update everything. But we still need to determine a winner somehow, so, if we agree, we'll axe it an I'll come up with something cleaner.

2) All of you need to re-register for Round 2. Send me a PM choosing your color and the character you expect - or want - to win; this is how I'll determine the winner if we cut the betting. I'll also change up the perks; whoever you choose gets double votes if you vote for him, and maybe automatic tiebreakers, too.

3) Any criticisms for the process as a whole? I mean, I THINK the system I've come up with it pretty efficient, but, hey, I'm not voting or anything, so I'd love you hear some of your opinions.

But, yeah, there'll be no new matches this week (except for the one I forgot) and Round 2 will begin next Monday. Don't miss it!

PM box is hard to get to with my laggy connection. I know I've been complaining a lot about it, but that's the truth.

I'm still in hysterics about Kirby not making the first round, all because of the bets system.
