Turn-based RPGs are naturally dull in combat. Fire Emblem isn't based around combat.
I found an odd thing about the main characters, like Ike and Marth, anyway. Apparantly, the greater number of females they marry, the lower their stats.
There's a thing in Fire Emblem called support bonds. It ups the user's stats when close to someone that the character shares it with. If it was A-Rank when you beat the game, they marry if a male supports a female.
Ike couldn't marry because there were no compatible characters.
Marth had about 3 or 4 bitches, making him weak.
Roy had 7 bitches, making him the weakest main male character in history. However, no one can call him gay.
So many posts to quote...which should I start with? Oh yeah, Dokapon.
I think the only people who get to hear the whispers of dark revenge are the players who're lagging behind. Then you go to the Darkness Space and for the next 10 turns or so that follow, pwn the heck out of the leading person.
I'd understand what DG was saying...if I played Yggdra Union. Which I don't.
Right. But its still super risky since you lose all your towns, money and items (other than equipment). But if you can manage to summon monsters to most of your opponent's towns and kill them a couple times, you're in good shape.
