Which is odd, actually, because Blue is still small and cute at 12 and 14...

She's not as cute at 14. But she's more baby-like than Yellow is in that pic.

I like the hat from certain angles. Like, an overhead shot of Yellow in her hat, or a chibified version, is just... you can you not love it? It's so big and she's so little.

Man, I want the books to be more available. I'll be lucky if I can find a couple books online, let alone a whole series.

Edit: Wait, they are reprinting them? I'm confused.

Yeah, there's the first two (or maybe three) reprinted now and they're releasing them bi-monthly, I think. So... just wait a few years for them to finish, I guess?

That is SWEET. But after looking around, the older versions are sometimes cheaper.

I did find somebody selling the first book for $97 though.

Yeah, but they're also incredibly crappy and expensive and they only go up to Volume 7, not to mention the fact they were twice as expensive as the newer releases when they were ORIGINALLY released.

Picked up the first book today. I don't think I want to buy them online simply because of shipping costs, but I got one at a bookstore I had a gift card for. What I really want is the Yellow series, though.

Ugh, I forgot we've been calling Blue and Green by their JP names. That's gonna take a lot of getting used too. Why the hell did they even change them?

It's because of the games. In Japan, the first games were released as Pokemon Red and Green.

In North America, they were released as Red and Blue. I don't know why.
