Something's wrong. Even after logging in as you, I still see Moderator Control Panel instead of Admin Control Panel. Do I need to download the forum software before I can do anything?

Okay, now I see the admin panel. The settings are....shallow. Very shallow. The forum still has ads, you have to download styles, you cannot make a banner or add your own custom background unless you pay for FTP hosting. DG why didn't you tell me before that design options were so limited?

This sucks behemoth balls. I think Sparklit does a better job here, unless you can find a free server that allows us to FTP.

This is the best free host I've found. If somebody competent wants to try, be my guest. I think we've established that I don't know sh*t about what I'm doing.

Uhh... you could use InvisionFree. I've seen some forums run on that and it seems pretty good.

As long as whoever can allow us to at least have our own aesthetics on a forum, I'm fine with it. As it stands, we're gonna look like a cheap-ass, generic forum.

You can't. That's the point. Even Sparklit gives you a chance to mess with the CSS. Freeforums doesn't.

If I had my way I say we should just make another Activeboard and get it over with. Time's running short, and I'm pretty fond of the layout here.

The best would be a forum that has a decent amount of customization, is free, and allows us to have our own graphics on. Once these 3 conditions are met, it's all go.

Sparklit is fine. It's pretty sleek. Just make it more organized and more modern-esque. The background needs to look AWESOME. Nintendo characters slapped on doesn't cut it. We don't need a freewebs. I just want you bastards to use our new chatroom. I'm debating between whether to use Chatango or Xat. Check em' both out and help me decide! We need to link to our chat in many places, and make it more accessible. I've been hyping these new forums for a while now. My MKWii chums are expecting something good. DG, pull an alk nighter and start this ****. >=D

We'll discuss designing later. I'm thinking of hand-drawing it myself. You know my designs are never that cheap :P. Right now we're just wanting to get the forum started.

Also, Chatango. That way, none of us have to make new accounts at another chat site.

Also, we agreed to go for 'lighthearted'. Making it look super-stylish and techno doesn't embody the feel of 'Nintendo', IMO(also, it's a pain to draw techno stuff, and I don't want to pilfer another random techno picture off the Net. No more of that)

All final designing opinions will have to go through me. Once the forum is set up, then we'll talk about what everyone wants for the site graphics.
