I haven't done one in the longest time, so yeah.

I picked up a used copy of this earlier this week. It's kinda like a cross between Harvest Moon, with farming and crap, and The Legend Of Zelda, with dungeons and swords. A somehow good mix. The anime style characters suits DG, if you ask me.

Ah, Rune Factory. My friend played that (though I'm still not sure how he obtained it) and said it was good.

Absolutely no interest, though. I like my farm sims long, boring, and full of paper-thin relationships of the romantic and platonic variety!

The only time I ever played Harvest Moon was when I had Another Wonderful Life for GCN. I couldn't figure out how to eat, so my character was always stumbling around and moaning. She also never slept. But, to be fair, she didn't really do any work either, so its fair kinda not really.

I REALLY didn't understand how to play that game.

To eat, you need to pick up food... and press the Y button. Y'know, the button that flashes with the word "EAT" in big letters.

...

Generally I just eat crap off the forest floor.

But in Another Wonderful Life the forest floor is... y'know... right next to your farm. Beneath the forest. Which is quite literally adjacent to your farm.
